From the muck of loss to
the magic of reinvention.

In my past life, I was the only female SVP/Creative Director at one of the largest advertising agencies in Los Angeles, creating award-winning campaigns for brands like Honda and Acura.

At 50, I lost my job. And found myself sobbing in the backyard, stuck in the muck of Worry, Fear and Now What?” Out of the desperation, I said a prayer and asked the Universe, “Am I too old to reinvent myself? Please give me a sign.”

I came home from a walk to find hundreds of red dragonflies, swarming our backyard. And was astonished to learn that that they spend most of their lives crawling in the muck at the bottom of a pond. Not even growing their magical wings until later in life!

Then, I realized I’m a dragonfly, soaring later in life. (After all, I had my first book published and solo art show at 65. And now, at 71, I’m launching my second book.)

The dragonfly’s muck-to-magic story has helped me change my story. And gave flight to a new mission: to uplift and inspire women to rise up from the muck of old limiting beliefs into the magic of new possibilities as they age.

Now, instead of creating gazillion dollar branding campaigns for Honda and Acura, I’m “re-branding aging” as a process of Becoming More of Who We Are, Not Less of What We Were.

I’m joyfully living in the magic of Ojai California with my husband Will, our furbaby Blossom and a colorful assortment of dragonflies.
